This Data Policy explains how Nelleke de Vries handles personal data through this website, the newsletter, contact forms, pre launch access forms, member access pages and the online documentary archive.
This page also explains the basic newsletter terms that apply when you subscribe to updates from Nelleke de Vries.
Nelleke de Vries is a documentary and digital media project connected to a civilian mission in Ukraine. The website publishes public information, visual stories, selected archive material and, after launch, members only documentary chapters.
We handle personal data carefully because this project may involve sensitive situations, protected people, mission related material, public subscribers, paid members and people connected to the archive.

We do not intentionally store full payment card details on our own website. Payment providers process payment data according to their own security and legal obligations.

7. Documentary archive and protected material
The Nelleke de Vries archive may include photos, videos, messages, notes, memories and mission related documentation.
Not all archive material is public.
Some material may be delayed, edited, anonymized, restricted, blurred, withheld or placed behind member access to protect safety, privacy and dignity.
We aim to avoid unnecessary exposure of:

The archive is not published for spectacle. It is published carefully, with attention to safety, context, privacy and documentary value.

Please do not send sensitive mission information, private addresses, identification numbers, medical details or operational details through public forms.
If you send sensitive information anyway, we may delete it, restrict it or ask you to use a safer communication method.
