11. Regulated Cannabis, Medical Route Preparation and Lived Experience Support
Nelleke de Vries can provide practical, legal, non medical support for people who need to understand, document, discuss or navigate regulated cannabis use in a responsible and transparent way.
This service is based on practical experience, lived experience, documentation work, harm reduction principles, legal boundary awareness and patient route preparation.
It is not medical treatment, not pharmacy service, not legal advice and not cannabis trade.
The founder of Nelleke de Vries has personal lived experience with cannabis used for medical and symptom management reasons, including PTSD related symptoms and long standing rheumatic pain. This experience became more urgent after frontline work in Ukraine in 2025, repeated exposure to extreme blast pressure and the later transition back into Dutch healthcare.
That personal experience helps us understand how confusing, sensitive and easily misinterpreted this subject can be. It also makes us serious about documentation, legal clarity, patient safety, privacy, product traceability, lawful routes and honest communication with doctors, pharmacists, care providers, regulators, legal professionals and family members.
This lived experience does not make Nelleke de Vries a medical provider, pharmacy, cannabis supplier, legal adviser or licensed cannabis operator. It does mean that we take the subject seriously, especially for people dealing with chronic pain, trauma related symptoms, PTSD symptoms, sensory overload, rheumatic conditions, recovery after extreme stress or the difficult return into normal healthcare after crisis work.
Our services may include:
• Organizing personal cannabis related notes before speaking with a GP, specialist, pharmacist, therapist, insurer, regulator or legal professional
• Preparing a clear symptom and medication history
• Documenting pain, sleep, stress, PTSD related symptoms, sensory overload, recovery patterns, medication changes and daily functioning
• Creating product experience logs without giving medical dosing advice
• Preparing questions for a doctor, pharmacist, insurer, care provider or legal adviser
• Explaining the difference between pharmacy supplied medicinal cannabis and regulated consumer cannabis
• Explaining the difference between Dutch medical cannabis routes and Dutch regulated coffeeshop routes
• Helping clients understand basic terms such as THC, CBD, flower, hash, oil, vaporizing, pharmacy cannabis, coffeeshop cannabis, lab testing, product documentation, regulated supply and traceability
• Supporting clients who want to discuss cannabis use honestly with healthcare providers
• Helping clients reduce confusion around legal cannabis systems in the Netherlands, selected US states and other jurisdictions for research or communication purposes
• Supporting website text, public statements, disclaimers, client intake wording, service descriptions and privacy safe communication around cannabis related subjects
• Helping people prepare safer and clearer conversations about chronic pain, trauma related symptoms, rheumatic conditions, sensory overload and recovery support
• Helping clients separate personal experience, medical documentation, legal questions, product claims and public communication
This service may be useful for people who already use cannabis, people who want to talk to their doctor about cannabis, people who are confused by the difference between medical and regulated consumer routes, and people who need help explaining their situation without asking for illegal shortcuts.
International Regulated Cannabis Bridge Exploration
Because our founder has both Dutch and American roots, Nelleke de Vries is interested in the lawful development of a transparent bridge between regulated cannabis systems in the Netherlands and the United States.
This interest is focused on legal research, documentation, compliance preparation, public communication, patient route clarification, product traceability, regulated market comparison and long term policy development.
The Netherlands and the United States are both developing legal cannabis systems, but they are not the same system.
Dutch regulated coffeeshop cannabis under the Controlled Cannabis Supply Chain Experiment is a regulated consumer route. Dutch medicinal cannabis belongs to the medical route through doctors, pharmacies and the official medicinal cannabis system.
In the United States, medical cannabis rules differ by federal law, state law, license type, product type, medical status and regulatory category.
Nelleke de Vries may explore whether lawful, licensed, transparent and regulator approved routes could exist between Dutch regulated cannabis systems and American medical cannabis systems.
This may include research into:
• Legal frameworks
• Traceability standards
• Documentation standards
• Public health rules
• Patient access models
• Product safety standards
• Licensing structures
• Medical route preparation
• Future import or export possibilities through properly authorized parties
This is a long term compliance and research interest. It is not a cannabis trading service.
We do not currently import, export, sell, supply, broker, transport, store, process, cultivate, extract, distribute, prescribe, dose or deliver cannabis, hash, THC products, CBD products, seeds, clones, plants, extracts or any controlled substance.
We do not arrange cannabis shipments between the Netherlands and the United States.
We do not connect clients to cannabis suppliers, growers, dispensaries, coffeeshops, exporters, importers or buyers for product transactions.
We do not use American state legality to bypass Dutch law.
We do not use Dutch regulated coffeeshop rules to bypass United States federal or state law.
We do not use medical language to disguise commercial cannabis activity.
Any possible future import, export, research, medical, pharmaceutical or commercial cannabis activity would require proper legal advice, government permissions, licenses, regulator approval, customs compliance, tax compliance, medical compliance where applicable and written agreements with properly authorized parties.
Until such legal pathways are fully confirmed and licensed, our role remains limited to research, documentation, communication, compliance preparation, lawful route mapping, privacy conscious patient support, public transparency and service design.
Our purpose is to understand whether legal, traceable and quality controlled cannabis systems can be discussed and developed responsibly across borders without creating illegal trade, false medical claims, unsafe products or regulatory confusion.
Our focus is lawful clarity, not product movement.
Important Legal and Medical Limits
Nelleke de Vries does not sell, supply, broker, prescribe, dose, import, export, cultivate, process, extract, store, transport, deliver or distribute cannabis, hash, THC products, CBD products, seeds, clones, plants, growing materials, extracts or any controlled substance.
We do not help clients obtain cannabis outside lawful routes.
We do not help clients bypass doctors, pharmacies, regulators, customs, police, courts, insurers, licensing rules, border rules, export controls, sanctions, tax rules or local laws.
We do not advise clients to stop prescribed medication.
We do not advise clients to replace medical treatment with cannabis.
We do not claim that cannabis cures PTSD, rheumatism, brain injury, chronic pain, trauma, cancer, neurological conditions, autoimmune disease or any other condition.
We do not provide medical dosing schedules.
We do not provide cannabis cultivation advice as a client service.
We do not provide product sourcing, product comparison for purchase, supplier introductions, buyer introductions or transaction support.
We do not arrange cross border cannabis activity between the Netherlands, the United States, Ukraine or any other country.
We do not create or support informal bridges between cannabis markets. Any future bridge must be legal, licensed, transparent, documented, regulator approved and reviewed by qualified legal professionals.
We can help clients organize information, understand lawful routes, prepare better questions, document experiences, protect privacy and communicate responsibly with qualified professionals.
In the Netherlands, medicinal cannabis belongs in the medical route through doctors, pharmacies and the official medicinal cannabis system.
Regulated coffeeshop cannabis, including products sold under the Controlled Cannabis Supply Chain Experiment in participating municipalities such as Breda, is a regulated consumer route and is not the same as medical treatment.
For international cannabis questions, including the United States or Ukraine, we provide only general educational, documentation, compliance awareness and communication support.
Laws differ by country, state, city, license type, product type, medical status and travel situation. Clients must obtain qualified legal advice before taking any action involving cannabis business, transport, import, export, licensing, medical supply, research supply or controlled substances.
Clients are always advised to speak with a licensed medical professional before changing medication, using cannabis as part of a health routine, combining cannabis with other medication, driving, traveling, working in safety sensitive roles or using cannabis after brain injury, severe trauma, blast exposure, PTSD symptoms or chronic illness.
This service exists because people deserve clear information, not panic, shame, illegal shortcuts, false medical claims or vague advice.

Legal and Transparency Statement
Nelleke de Vries operates as a commercial service provider. We provide practical support, digital privacy help, safety planning, documentation, communication structure, patient navigation support, legal boundary awareness, compliance awareness, public communication support and crisis adjacent assistance within legal limits.
We are not an NGO, not a charity, not a public authority, not law enforcement, not a hospital, not a pharmacy, not a medical clinic, not a cannabis supplier, not a licensed cannabis operator and not an emergency hotline.
We work with respect for privacy, consent, confidentiality, data minimization and applicable laws. Sensitive information is handled carefully.
We do not publish operational details, private addresses, identifiable victim information, children’s details, medical details, cannabis related personal information or sensitive locations without a clear legal and ethical basis.
Cannabis related support is strictly non medical and non transactional.
We do not sell, supply, broker, prescribe, dose, import, export, cultivate, process, extract, store, transport, deliver or distribute cannabis, hash, THC products, CBD products, seeds, clones, plants, growing materials, extracts or any controlled substance.
Where cannabis is discussed, we distinguish between legal medical routes, regulated consumer routes, research routes, compliance research, policy development and informal or unlawful routes. We do not blur those categories.
We help clients understand the difference, document their situation, prepare questions and communicate clearly with the correct professionals.
Nelleke de Vries has a long term interest in the lawful, transparent development of regulated cannabis knowledge between the Netherlands and the United States.
This includes interest in the Dutch Controlled Cannabis Supply Chain Experiment, Dutch medicinal cannabis routes, American medical cannabis systems, product traceability, patient communication, product safety documentation, regulated market comparison and possible future legal frameworks for properly licensed cooperation.
This does not mean that Nelleke de Vries currently imports, exports, sells, supplies, brokers, transports, stores, cultivates, processes, extracts, prescribes, doses or delivers cannabis or cannabis related products.
Cannabis related cross border activity is legally sensitive and may involve medical law, controlled substance law, customs law, tax law, licensing law, public health law, international treaty obligations, regulator approval and professional compliance review.
We treat this as a compliance subject, not as a shortcut.
Any future work involving cannabis import, export, medical supply, product movement, commercial partnership, research supply, regulated market cooperation or licensed cross border activity must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel and handled only by properly licensed and authorized parties.
Our current role is limited to lawful research, documentation, service design, patient route preparation, privacy protection, public communication, legal boundary awareness, compliance awareness, route mapping and transparent discussion.
When a situation requires a doctor, pharmacist, lawyer, licensed cannabis professional, customs specialist, insurer, tax adviser, regulator, police officer, consulate, therapist or emergency service, we say so clearly.
Emergency Notice
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Our services can help with preparation, organization, documentation, privacy, communication, legal boundary awareness, patient navigation preparation, compliance awareness and follow up support, but we are not a replacement for emergency response, medical care, legal advice, pharmacy care, regulatory approval, customs advice or licensed professional treatment.
